The ZEST Wellness Weekend is intentionally curated to create an experience that offers you the freedom to enjoy your time away, the way YOU want to. We invite you to join us for a mountain retreat in the Scandinavian Alps, where wellness, yoga, relaxation, and luxury are waiting for you.

This weekend is a break from the stress and responsibilities of day-to-day life, and a chance to reset your nervous system, move your body, and quiet your mind. You will leave feeling rested, refreshed, energized, and inspired.

    Free entrance Saturday morning access to Fyri’s famous Pool Club from 10:00-12:00. Rest and relax with an indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, daybeds, a bar, snacks and chill music.

Friday:

15:00: Check in and Exhale :) The vacation starts now!

16:00: Welcome Smoothie.

16:30: 60 min Slow Flow. Energize, Release and Reset.

18:00: A gourmet 3-course dinner at Restaurant Liv.

Saturday

7:30-8:45: 75 min Power Vinyasa. Sweaty, dynamic rise and shine flow.

9:00: Full breakfast buffet at Restaurant Liv.

10:00-12:00: Fyri Pool Club! Enjoy the gorgeous indoor/outdoor pool and sauna or lounge in the chill out room by the fire.

13:00: 45 min Power Pilates. Burn and sculpt.

14:00: Lunch at Restaurant Liv.

15:00 Free time! Enjoy a hike in the mountains, take a nap, or read a book in bed.

18:00: A gourmet 3-course dinner at Restaurant Liv.

20:30: 60 min Slow Flow and Yoga Nidra. Stretch, Release, Recharge.

Sunday

8:15: 60 min Vinyasa Flow. Awaken and strengthen.

9:30: Full breakfast buffet at Restaurant Liv.

11:00 Checkout.

11:30 60 Min Slow Flow and Breath work.

THe LOCATION

Come with us on a journey 625 m above sea, among treetops and in a landscape that’s just as gorgeous in summer as it is in winter. An all-year-round destination in Scandinavia’s most picturesque ski resort Hemsedal.

A place where adventure and nature are the excursion and Fyri serves as the hideaway for recreation and wellbeing.

At Fýri you’ll find a 1000 m² Spa Club with elegant food in amazing surroundings.

The accomodation

There is nothing standard about Fyri, not even their standard rooms. High quality runs throughout the hotel: the comfort, the efficiency and the cleverly thought out layout of the rooms create a beautifully plush luxurious experience.

THe food

A trip around the Mediterranean provides a clue to the inspiration for Restaurant Liv. Crossed between mainly between Italy and Spain, the flavors of green herbs such as basil and rosemary, the grassiness of a delicious olive oil and the taste of juicy, sun-ripened tomatoes. The vegetables are selected according to the season. Their ambition is to mainly work with local ingredients and when available. Restaurant Liv is open from late afternoon to evening, filled with pulse and life – just as the name suggests. The spectacular views of the mountains are always included. Vegan and vegetarian options are always available. Please let us know in advance if you have any food allergies or additional dietary requirements.

This weekend is designed to offer you the space and freedom to make this experience uniquely your own. While we offer you six classes over the weekend, you are welcome to pick and choose which ones you would like to attend. You are encouraged to spend your time doing what you WANT to do, not what you feel like you "should" be doing. There is no forced socializing or requirements for this weekend, and you select your dinner reservation and dinner guests when you register.

The Classes

  • This class offers dynamic and energetic sequences of yoga with a focus on breat The class will start with with active, strength building warmup leading to a rhythmic, repetitive, aerobic flow of salutations. The second half of the class offers a practice of mindful relaxation through slower movements. Open to all level of practitioners

  • This class is a fun, energetic power yoga practice. It incorporates dynamic salutation based sequences and exercises that challenge you to fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting breath to movement. It is a vigorous and revitalising form of physical fitness.

    Power Flow incorporates strength, flexibility, balance, cardio and physical and mental stamina in one session. Expect to workout to pop and hip hop music. The class is challenging but know that there is always space to go at your own pace.

  • This pilates class works to sculpt muscle tone throughout your entire body. Dynamic and challenging but accessible to all.

    Designed to strengthen your core, lengthen and balance your body, this class will get your heart-rate up, have you breaking a sweat and feeling the burn.

    While the classes are designed to be challenging, the practice is meant to be available to all level of practitioners as many modifications are offered. Resistance bands will be provided and used in class.

  • Slow flow yoga is a breath-based, mindful movement practice that brings us home to our body, breath, and mind, in the present moment. Think meditation in motion; a mindful flow that invites us to practice slowing down and moving with more awareness, balance, and grace.

    We learn how to slow down and move with intention, grow present and aware of what is happening within us as well as around us. This allows us to bring our new level of embodiment and awareness off the mat and out into our lives, where we need it most. Deepening and staying in connection with the breath ultimately deepens the connection with the self. Slow-flow classes integrate an emphasis on internal observation, rhythmic breathing, and fully supported rest.

  • Yoga Nidra is the “sleep of the yogis” or “yogic sleep”, and is an ancient relaxation technique and guided meditation that allows the student to exist in a state of consciousness that is in-between sleep and being fully awake. Yoga nidra is a verbally guided experience that includes body scans, and often, identifying a sankalpa to focus your thoughts and energy on. It aims to reduce stress, fatigue, anxiety, and tension as it deeply nourishes the body, mind, and spirit. No movement is required, and class will be done on the back in Savasana.
